There is perhaps no piece of fire spinning safety equipment more essential than the safety blanket! Whether it’s putting out fire props when people get tired or extinguishing a fire performer who has had an unfortunate accident, fire safety blankets form the backbone of good fire safety habits! But is there one option that’s better than the others? I went head-to-head testing out a wet towel, duvetyne, Matrix Fire Safety blanket, and a dry towel to get to the bottom of this question and the answers I found absolutely rocked more than ten years of assumptions that I’d made about safety blankets.
